We need assistance so that our local fishermen achieve their dreams in harvesting their marine resources from their ocean to breaking their inter-generational cycle of fishers’ low economic power naturally due to living at the Small Island Developing State (SIDS). We depend heavily on our marine resources for food security.
We are thankful in receiving assistance in the past from the then Chinese Embassy, New Zealand High Commission, Taiwan Embassy, Canadian Fund, Pacific Island Forum Secretariat, DevFish, SPC.

AusAID had given big hand to sustain Te Tarakai Newspaper

We also receive assistance through advertising at Te Tarakai Newspaper from private and business like Tokaraetina, almost through 2008.

We receive assistance in kind from LDS, Taiwan Embassy and Marilyn.Ruth Beverley. Pintech gave a much reduced price for this website.

We need more help before we can rise above the sea. We invite development partners to help us fulfill the fishers’ dreams.

We must not forget the support from Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resource Development and Ministry of Internal and Social Affairs in endorsing our requests to the donors.
